The fourth Hex tournament organized by Comité International des Jeux Mathématiques was held in Paris on May 29 2016. As far as we know it’s the only official Hex competition in Europe. Eighteen players took part in this tournament, sixteen from France plus Giùpiter and Cosimo Comparetto from Italy. By chance the final game was played between the two Italians and the lucky winner was Giùpiter.

This video shows third edition of the Hex tournament held by Comité International des Jeux Mathématiques on May 31, 2015 in Paris.
The tournament was dedicated to John Forbes Nash Jr. U.S. mathematician, winner of the Nobel Prize in economics and co-inventor of Hex, who passed away on May 23 2015.
Twenty-four players took part in the competition, most of them from France, but this time there were also players coming from seven different European countries, making this tournament a little bit more “international”.
There is an error in the titles of the video: when it’s written that Florian got to the semi-finals. It was not Florian, who was eliminated, but Fabien!
